Broad-based leaders led by Governor Gideon Mung’aro and Farouk Kibet today held a women empowerment program at Mwanamwinga Ward in Kaloleni Constituency, bringing together residents in a show of unity and inclusive leadership.

Addressing the gathering, Governor Gideon Mung’aro reaffirmed his support for the broad-based government and President William Ruto, saying the President has consistently stood with the people of the Coast region through development initiatives and efforts to address long-standing challenges.

Farouk Kibet emphasized that women empowerment programs are aimed at uplifting the lives of mothers and sisters by providing them with opportunities to improve their livelihoods, strengthen their families, and contribute to community development.

Hon. Mwengi Mutuse urged eligible Kenyans who do not have national identity cards to acquire them and register as voters. He also called on leaders from the Coast region to unite in supporting President William Ruto, noting that the government is working to resolve historical land injustices while strengthening the tourism sector.

Hon. John Bwire said President William Ruto has prioritized the needs of the people of Kaloleni and the wider Coast region by facilitating the issuance of title deeds, helping to address long-standing land ownership challenges that have affected many families for decades.

The leaders reiterated their commitment to supporting empowerment initiatives and development programs aimed at improving the welfare of the people of Kilifi County and the wider Coast region.
